On the DSL modem there 4 to 5 LEDs ( depending on the brand of DSL Modem). Each of this is marked with a name. Check out which ones are red and which ones are normal ( that is Green ).

If it is the ' Power Light ' that is red then the is some problem with your DSL Modem Power Supply Adapter.

If it is the ' Ethernet or PC Link Light ' that is red then it is the Ethernet Cable or the Ethernet Card itself that is the Problem.

If the ' USB Light ' is red then your USB Cable or the USB Port has a problem.

If the ' DSL Light ' is red then it is the connection that comes from the DSL Office that has the problem.

If the ' Internet Light ( Activity )' is red then you are not getting any Internet Activity via the DSL Office.

Turn the DSL Modem off and unplug its Power Adapter Cable. Re-seat all Cables properly and snugly. Wait about 5 minutes and the turn the power to the DSL Modem on. Hopefully, it should connect properly and everything should be OK.

Good Luck.

the dsl light would this be the rx light, if so then the recieve signal is too low from the hub. It usually has a problem cause a squirel is fried on one of the lines going to your house. Let the tech come over he might have to replace the dsl modem or the lines to your house.

Make sure none of the cables have pulled out of the back to the hard drive or to the modem.

Good Luck

sounds like your subscriber is having problems, did you check with them? Maybe your computer is tired of your poor spelling.
