Karl Rove initiated a plan to co-opt Murphy's Law and incorporate it into Constitutional Law. Only they're working under cover for the time being, "in cognito" while apparently fighting for truth, liberty, and apple pie.
Hence, all of American and much of the world has been experiencing Murphy's Law, in so much as the neoconservatives said, "____ it, if you can't beat it, let's legislate it."

we all live under this law to some degree, although keeping yourself positive in thoughts and actions will circumvent this law a great deal.
