I had sex with a old freind who had her tubes tied 17 years ago and I am for some reason worried she could of gotten pregnant. She had her period a week after we had sex and I still talked her into taking a home preg test just to calm my nerves (she said I was nuts but did so I would leave her alone) it was negative. Am I just nuts like she says and have nothing to worry about?

So what are talking about? And you did say that she had a period, had her tubes tied 17 years ago, the test came negative so maybe you gotta do an ultrasound test to see if a fetus is growing inside her. And if it is, mebbe a DNA test to prove that it is your child, and then you also gotta do the.......

Sheesh, mebbe you just boasting to the world that you banged somebody or what? Mebbe you don't trust the female or you did something wrong mebbe?

why am I sleeping with someone that I don't trust
for example since you say her tubes has been tied 17 years ago
I presume you two are not children
So grow up you two should worried more about STD than getting preg

Yep you have nothing to worry about. She has her tubes tied, she got her period AND she took a test which was negative. You need to either get over it or never have sex again.

I think that you don't have anything to worry about although my sister said that a pregnancy is very slim. She has her tubes tied now and her doctor said after so many years they need to be checked but I can not remember how long it should be. I hope this helps your nerves.

You have nothing to worry about if she had her period a week later and the test result was negative. Besides if you are that worried about getting someone pregnant use protection.

chances are you are safe. she had her period and the test as negative. Sperm can only live in the female body for 48 hours. also every time the lady pees, that reduces the chances as well. Urine kills sperm too. I would relax. I highly doubt she is pregnant. But next time if you are really worried, use a condom.

It is possible for her to get pregnant with her tubes tied, but don't stress over it or you will scare her off, she may be your match! Only when she worries, should you worry too!

Yes, you're nuts. If her tubes are tied, there's virtually no chance of her getting pregnant.

Man, I'd hate to see you with someone who says they're on the pill... is it because you're cheating on this woman with your wife? Thats it, isn't it?

Not necessarily, tubes can become untied after the years, if she had them cut then no, there is no possible way she could be pregnant, but if she just had them tied, as I said, they can become untied.
