Just pop them into your car radiator, turn the car on, and rev the engine a while. The engine will heat up the water in the radiator, and that will melt your ice cubes. I bet you didn't know that nearly all cars come with this ice-cube melter add-on, did you? What will they think of next?

common misconception that hot water will melt them faster, cold water is much more efficient
