Hi, I heard on the news today that Eric Clapton had a young son called "Connor" and he would've turned 20 today but he passed away.. and that song is dedicated to him,
Is this true? & if so, Could you please give me some details...

If I were you I would try typing in on the search bar Yahoo News Eric Clapton and see if that turns anything up. I also, wanted to comment about your answer to my question. Your answer was the only one that was disrespectful. I feel very sorry for you. I would suggest getting therapy by a psychologist for "your problem." No offense intended...I'm just a caring person. My questions are in no way disrespectful and are always worded as politely as anyone could word them. I've looked at a lot of your questions/answers and I think you take things too hard. As I've said a therapist would be able to help you with your anger issues. By the way, I'm not a cow; I'm a slim good looking woman that all the men stare at when I walk down the street....LOL

He did indeed dedicate that song to his son but I'm not sure if connor was his name or not. Have you tried to just do some research on Eric Clapton on the net. I'm sure you will find all your answers and details if you do.

Yes he had a son Connor who fell out the window of his mothers place several stories up. Mr. Clapton was out drinking and returned to find his son had died. He set up a rehab/recovery place with the sale of many of his guitars to help other fathers and mothers, celebrity or not meet the needs of their familes.

It's true He and mother were living on East 57th. st.
when some how the toddler fell from the window landing on the roof of a smaller building .
Eric was in euro at the time and the mum was no were to be fond.

Yes, the boy was four years old when he fell out of an apartment window. EC felt horrible because he was just getting to know the little guy after his mom and his break up. Very sad...beautiful song.

yeah...he was a little fella and they lived 3 or 4 stories up and a window was open and the boy fell out and died...it was really sad, he may have been 3 or so.
