I avoid calling them either. I just state on the phone who I am and what I want. If I had to know I guess I would ask them for their name and hope it wasn't one that is used for both male and female. In person if you need to get someones attention and you can't tell whether to say sir or madam just say "excuse me" and go from there.

i individually do empathize with you, in spite of the undeniable fact that, if we at the instant are not aggressive, the roles will stay outsourced. think of of it this style: human beings elect to pay the smallest volume they are able to for a provider or product, yet we'd elect to gets a commission the main we are able to. the two ideologies in simple terms do no longer mesh. as long because of the fact the guy can comprehend me and would sparkling up a undertaking or supply a proof it is comprehensible, i'm superb. If the guy isn't able to try this, I reason a fuss. the sorrowful element is that many American/Canadian call centers hire such pathetic reps, i've got actual gotten extra effective provider from remote places.

Just be respectful when you talk to them, but do not add a mam or sir, really no need.
