i start school tomorrow so me and all of my friends went out for dinner as our last summer fling. we had all of our guy-friends there because we're all going to an all-girls school so we're not gonna see them often during the year. it got really late and i had to get home so i asked if anyone could give me a ride and no one answered so i told them that if i don't get a ride i have to walk home by myself in the dark. in less than three seconds, about half of the guys there offered to walk me home. i was really surprised because they'd usually be like, "have a fun time walking home." as a joke, though. should i be wondering about this or should i just forget about it? are they just being nice because they're my close buds or is there some sort of other feeling that they ALL seem to have???? its weird!! what's happening to my friends??

for those who were wondering, they are all the closest friends i could ever have. i've known them all for years and the one i've known for the least amount of time was a year. so yes, i trust every single one of them.

Sounds like they just didn't want you to walk home alone because they care about you and don't want anything to happen to you.

Well did they walk you home? Do you trust them as friends? Sometimes people refer to someone they met last week as a friend, that's not a friend that is an aquaintance or a friend of a friend. Don't be too trusting in this day and age it is dangerous living. If you got home safe and nothing happened, why bother making a mountain out of a mole hill. Forget it.

It sounds like either he really likes you, or else he's gay. He might have sat with that other girl because she asked him to, or he's starting to give up on you because you dont seem interested. I would say that it is time for you to find out for sure. Dont play games, just ask him if he would like to go out to dinner with you sometime. Call him on the phone and ask or something if you are nervous about the response. If you are comfortable with him, you can even ask him "Do you ever see us dating?" I've done that with one of my friends and now we are dating happily. If he says no, you can say you were just wondering because you guys get along so well.

maybe they're just giving you the extra attention cause youwon't see them as often now that you'll be in school without them. or maybe you jsut went through puberty and they like your chest. or maybe they thought they would get some if they walked you to your house. maybe they all wanted to know where you live so they can stalk you. or maybe they all have feelings for you..i mean what are the odds of that.

They're just friends and will feel guilty if something happen to you especially with high rape crimes nowadays. They might be mean friends but they care too. It's a friendly act and nothing else.

Maybe everyone around you is doing exactly what is expected to happen. You all are maturing and becoming more concerned about being less childish and more helpful. Who knows!

Hmm. Perhaps you are going to a different school then they are and they want to say their final goodbyes to you. ..? other then that i cannot think of why they might be acting that way.
