my husband wants another kid but i am not ready. i dont want to be mean to him or anything, how would i tell him i'm not ready so he would understand?

sometimes its tough to talk to a guy. if you don't want to have anymore kids right now then don't. you still have a whole life a head of you to have as many as you want. why not waiting awhile? try talking to him. explain your feelings and concerns.

Tell him you are concerned about your health :) Or tell him that you don't think now is a good time, that you want more bonding time with the child you already have. Ask him why he is in a rush.. see if you can both set a realistic date together to start trying to conceive.. make it a mutual decision.

Tell him your body isn't ready for it yet. Remind him of how traumatic it was and that your body will let you know when the time is right again. Acknowledge his desires but be firm about him respecting your knowledge of your body.

you just tell him, you tell him why, you have to be open and honest...however you do it, be calm, and try to explain when you might be ready. and if you think you're done, tell him the truth.

Don't feel you have to make excuses. Make sure you are on more than one type of birth control and just say "not yet". He can't make you.
