Hi, I'll try to keep this as short and sweet as possible, please don't think this is a joke.
Since I was about 8 or 9 (can't remember), I've had what you call (in conventional terms) "Super Powers". I know that sounds absolutely ridiculous, but there's no other way I can explain it. I'm 23 now, and have been dealing with this secretly for a while now. I don't know why it happens, but when I get extremely mad, or frustrated, or angry, my fingertips begin to burn really bad and something near by will catch fire.
I've experimented with this ability in closed quarters, and I've found that if I project enough anger or frustration on to a certain object, it will catch fire, somethimes even explode.
If there is anyone else with this ability, who has learned to cope with it, please let me know, because frankly I'm scared that i will snap and do something unthinkable. Also I'm tired of replacing shirts and household furniture. Thanks everyone!

wow. a regular firestarter.

There have been research into pyrokinesis and spontaeous combustion with som inconclusive results. The science community is not ready to accept anything as comic bookish or superstitius mysticism.

If you truely have something like this then, friend, you have a deep responsibility. To be fancy with my words, you have the ability to create a life in fire, and others wil automatically assume you have no business playing your version of god. If you have the ability to pick and choose what object deserves your attention in this matter, you have the responsibility to also defend that object, whatever it is. Things born in rage are always violent.

I feel if you wish to control yourself and understand yourself even better, you should look into the pyschologists or scientists that are continuing to conduct these paranormal experiments, perhaps even speak to a few fire expoerts and see if they can even point you in the correct direction.

It's your chi and chai, or yin and yang, or jerk and spunk, or something like that.

Eat more cucumbers, celery, and cool things like that. Eat less tomoatoes, salsa, and spicy stuff.

See a doctor and show him what you can do, master the strength young jedi and save the planet from global warming.

It's your chi.
You can learn to channel it effectively.
You need to find someone, probably someone associated with the martial arts, that can teach you to do this.
