I'm not sure what you're asking but magnets that can lift more than 600 pounds are common. Any scrapyard has an electromagnet that can lift tons, including entire cars.

I've seen magnets about the diameter of a quarter and twice as thick that will give you a bruise if you're not careful. They are so strong that if you get your finger caught between two of them, you'll get a nasty pinch.
