First of all, you DO NOT have to pay ANYONE or ANY COMPANY in order to find or get a government job. Those people use the fact that you do not know the process in obtaining a government job to their benefit. For a city or county job, go to any city or county website and access their human resources link or job link or employment link. You can also visit the city's or county's human resource dept. in person. For a listing of state jobs, visit your state's OFFICIAL website and follow the links to get a list of jobs available. For government job listings, go to OPM.GOV. The Postal Service's website does lists job openings at USPS.COM

There are companies who help fill out the paperwork and resumes to help get certain jobs. You have to have the right number of key words often to get enough points to get the jobs. Also you can find them online I cannot remember the exact internet address of the site the VA Phlebotomist told me about but it is a government site.
