I'm Australian - mature aged male
Can you tell me under what conditions I'd have a fair chance of getting a Green Card to live in the United States??

As long as you don't want to fly an airplane into any buildings I don't see why you would have a problem. I suspect that you could get the paperwork pushed in a few weeks to a few months.
