i truly think its because we consume more caffeine in our diets than ever before which depletes all calcium

The top 5 countries including United States produce more dairy products than anymore country meaning, the people will get there minerals and vitamins and the nutrients to provide to those who purchases it. But osteophorsis can be consumed by the top 5 countries making your body lose bones as well and some of your muscles too. That is why the food pyramid there for. You also consume calcium in fortified orange juice, vegetables, beans, oysters, cheese, yogurt, fortified cereal, fortified soy milk, ice cream, almonds, salmon w/ bones, fortified waffles and tortillas, mustard and greens.

You are all wrong, osteo is occurring more often due to the high consumption of soy, which is added to milk (in the cows feed), contrary to popular belief soy actually depletes the calcium from the bones and only turns them in to aspic. It does not build up calcium in the bones. You can counteract this by doing a lot of heavy lifting in ones daily chores, like carrying equal heavy loads.

There is no correlation between comsumation of dairy products and the reduction of osteoporosis.

Our life expectancy is increasing and it is easier to diagnose bone density than it has been in the past. I think that more people are also getting primary and preventive health care and being diagnosed. A couple of generations ago, most people only went to the doctor when they were pretty sick.

A chain is as strong as weakest link. Calcium can not be used by body without vit. D. We don't get enough due to false idea that sunlight is bad for you. See this site

Probably because products have more additives in them than before when they were mostly natural and we're not getting as many vitamins and minerals from them.
