orchids are my favorite. They are so delicate......yet have an inner strength which is amazing. A majority of Hawaiian leis are made from orchids for this reason. The orchid lives quite awhile even once picked and plucked of its stem. One of my favorite orchids would be the Lady's Slipper.

Second choice would be a dandelion. A flower that grows in abundance and spreads its seed rampant....yet gets over looked and coined a "weed" perhaps because its so common. *shrugs* I find beauty in it! Its vibrant yellow color adds such a bright hue on dark and dreary days.

Well, my hubby said to tell you our daughter is the most beautiful flower.
On a more serious note... I really love lilies. They're just so beautiful. I love all colors, too. Second choice would be a rose. A REAL rose, not one of those fake things you get at the florist that has no true essence. The scent of a true red rose is gorgeous.

You might think that I'm lying but I'm going to tell you anyway. I was going to respond without reading the rest of your question and I was going to type "Orchids"! That's still my answer. I also LOVE the smell of orchids. To me they smell kind of watery flowerey like. (If that makes sense)
