At work when i get on the computer it will never let me go to like certain websited, it has something to do with the Proxy settings, but I turned off the Proxys and it still didnt work, it came up another message page about the Proxys, GGGRRRRR!!!! How can I get around this work security shyt! I did it before but now it doesnt work the same way i did it last time, PLEASE HELP!

Well it would be helpful if you said what it exactly said about proxies

otherwise...it may be the fact that even though you have proxies off...ur comp might still be using them...for example...web accelerators are basically proxies

If you need to visit the website for work, then ask your web administrator. If not, it is obvious that the policies of the company dont allow to visit that pages, try going to an internet cafe on your spare hours.

Sounds like your net admin doesn't want you going to this 'certain website' on company time. People can get fired for that sort of thing, depending on what the 'certain website' is.

Ive gotten around the toughest web filters, im not going to tell you how to though because you have to work.

the company that my husband works for i can not send him any e-mail at all i will get it back they block any one except for the people who work for them that sucks but that's the way it goes.

I believed you behind in a firewall and only your administrator can able and disable you.
