Why is there so much violence in low income areas?

i think that most people who are in low income areas are there for a reason. because they are too stupid to find a way out. which leads to your question... high crime because they are too stupid to come up with better more productive ways to live their lives.... i'm sure i'm going to upset some people with this answer, but keep in mind that i said 'most'... i know some good people are stuck in those places too.

I'd like to see the data, because I'm not sure that's correct. Overcrowding in low income areas may be more of a reason than less money. There is violence at all income levels.

Reason being the rich are in full greed mode,living in world that has become their very own ,only living for the mighty dollar and only taking care of whos number one The poor dont even have a chance in a nation that dont pervade them with the tools to survive .Education to teach them a good trade,they have a life to live for ,to be happy to live for.In the truth,the rich get richer and the poor get poorer,because the sad thing is money is the root of all that called evil and I give out as much as I can out into world to poor .The honest truth is the more you give out into the world,the more blessed you become.You know why, if give to somebody and receive nothing in return and that means not even a thank you.You steal their blessing and give them your curse and clean your plate you see,didn't you that.Come on people give to the poor,so they to will have something to give back into the world.

Because people with lower incomes are struggling to survive.. they beg, borrow, and steal to live... they give thier last dime to pay the basic bills and have to figure out how to make ends meet.. watching the rich get richer and the poor get poorer...

Well in my opinion .. Its because some people.. ( SOME ) don't get educated, don't learn morals and respect.
They grow up like thugs because otherwise they don't have any choice, the women get pregnant a young age, because no one cares for them and they don't respect themselves, the boys joing gangs, do drugs, and then carry knifes and guns around..
Hmm.. accidents happen people get killed they go to jail..

Its a never ending cycle.

Because broke people are angry people. Life aint easy at the bottom of the pile. Especially when you work hard to earn what you have and you see young people who's rich parents so easily buy them brand new cars (they get to have even though they don't have to have a job to pay for them or the insurance)that they are quick to go out and wreck. Because the uneducated don't know how to do anything else but do 'stupid' things.
It is their own fault. We all have the opportunity to go to school for free for 12 plus years. Because they would much rather deal drugs, fight and kill each other...they should not bring their bad habits to those who are trying to make something out of their lives.
