should stop being so serious and be easy and fun..like super best friends. The reason is because I brought up marriage and a family with him someday. He said he cant even think about a child or marriage because he has 2 children from different woman in his home country and he doesnt make very much money to even support himself. But I cant help it I love this man and I want to make it work even with all his problems! He said that he doesnt think I would be happy in this life and to find someone who will give you what you deserve way more! I just dont want to hear that because I love him and feel so sad that we shouldnt be together! The truth hurts sometimes! So how can we still be best friends when I feel so much more for him??

You probably can't just be friends until you "get over" him. He is sending a very loud and very clear message that marriage and children are not going to happen. Save yourself the heartache, don't hold your breath.

I am sure the fact that he is being so honest with you makes you love him even more. If you want to be with him all you have to do is to have a wonderful career and make loads of money to support his children and their moms and you two (at least until the kids are 18-21yo) If you want to get over him read the book "He is not all that into you" It is easy reading and teaches us romantics how men think. The fact of the matter is, if he really wanted to be with you he would. He just wants a lot of fun and games and booty. This gets him everything that he wants and gets you nowhere. In the end you will feel used and you will have wasted more than 7 months.

the guy has done everything but dump you.... RUN, don't walk, away from him.
