My 12 year old nephew is giving up his free time to run with a legally blind athlete on my Special Olympic team. I think that's great news, since most kids today would rather play video games or watch tv.

My four and a half year old son Simon started pre-school last week and absolutely LOVES it! I hope we can keep up the momentum at least half way through his senior year in High School. He actually asks for homework.

I work in the Customer Service department at my job and I received a phone message from one of our guests who I have been assisting for a couple of days. She told me that she really appreciated all of the assistance I have given her and she said that it was clear why I was placed in Customer Service since I was so responsive and caring of her needs.
Even though I always tell my coworkers to try to exceed their guests expectations, it still made my day to be recognized for my efforts.

My 2 yr old son whom normally hates my cooking ate all his dinner last night....and squealed "Yum" after each bite.....it made MY day!
