I would like to find a nice bow to restring with horse hair as a gift to my boy freind but I dont know much about cello bows. I dont want to speend to much money but I would like that one that is good quality and looks cool! what should I look for

actually, it might be better if you let him get his own cello bow. each cellist has a different bow preference, for example, some bows have a good grip on the string, or some play sticatto (short) bowings better.
if you get him a bow that he ends up not liking... uh oh.

try the bass but a cello bow is normal tight white strings light, get some rosin check for cracks but i cant reconment any brand to buy

I was always fond of the colored bows...they dye the horsehair to any color you'd like...black, blue, brown, red, even rainbow....the only thing is, i don't know the prices...you'd might want to look up colored cello bows on google....hope this helped..

Buy a cheap bow and put it in the freezer overnight. Real cool!

tie a bow around your ummmmmm(personal) and really surprise him. im jealous, i wanna learn cello and violin. i only have a few instruments in my closet.
