The Social Security Debt amounts to half the total debt which is about $60k. This includes gasoline credit cards & a personal line of credit my wife took out to take care of other debts.

By the way this is disability survivors benefits under my late father's ss#! When I got Married in 1998 those benefits get cut off. I had told them in 2000 when I had the required exam. I'm also unable to find work after being laid off 4yrs ago.

No, that debt cannot be discharged.

you want to try to file bankruptcy on the federal government!?!??? BWAHAHAHAHA
it will never happen, what they will do is with hold any and all future ssa payments until the debt is paid in full, with interest. they will also put a lien on any and all property that you own, and more than likely send you to prison if you fail to pay it.
