Call, write, or e_mail your Representatives and tell them you want a National Language (English).
When you get a live person tell them you don't like pushing 1 for English and don't support the Co's that require it, and if possible don't use that Co..
No more Miller time for me as they gave 30.000 for pro-illegal alien invader march in Chicago last weekend.

It's another PC deal!
Or is it another data mining scheme by the g-men? Think about it - What if all of the phones who had 2 pressed for spanish are recorded and the ivory towers are going to swoop down on the illegals.

Don't blame us - we don't like pressing the damned thing any more than you do - or talking to the recording which always says "I'm sorry, I didn't quite understand that." Its because the conservatives insist on outsourcing everything and there's no one here to answer the phones - in English or anything else!

I get it, you want to blame everything that has to do with illegals and illegal immigration on the liberals. When in FACT no President has done ANYTHING about illegal immigration for at least the past 50 years. And how many of them were republicans? NIxon, Ford, Reagan, Bush 41 and Dubya??????

I'm a liberal, but that doesn't mean that I'm for illegal immigration. Immigration itself is a wonderful thing, but that doesn't mean you're allowed to break the law to come into a country and then expect us to adapt to your culture instead of adapting to ours.

It's not as though I would walk into a restaurant in Japan and expect someone to take my order in English.

Because it's a capitalist country, and the businesses that have this feature are catering to their paying customers.

Also, because it's a democratic republic, and a large enough percentage of the population speaks another language. So, like any democratic-based system, that large percentage gets accommodated.

But if you don't want to live in a democracy, or in a capitalist economic system, I'm sure we can find you a nice little country somewhere where all your choices are made for you.
