Is there anything wrong with getting nails done all the time? Any adverse effects and such? Should I stop getting my nails done because of the chemicals? What is you honest advise? I like ny nails but just wondering is all. Thanks

yes love it can be really bad for you, especially if you pick your nose alot, YOU WILL GET HIGH hahaha

I'm 23 and have been getting my nails done since I was 14. I have yet to experience any infection or fungus or any of my real nails coming off. Acrylics, honestly, are the only thing that make my real nails grow. The fumes of the acrylic, however, are not good for anyone. Notice how the nail techs wear masks but don't offer the patrons any. When I wear my own mask, they look at me funny but I don't care. They know that stuff is no good for you but as long as they're getting our money, they don't give a damn.

I'm 25 and have been getting my nails done since I was 15, never had any problems with fungus or anything. I guess breathing it is bad for you wear a mask.

If the nail tech sterilizes their equipment you should be okay. But acrylic's do damage your natural nail bed. So if you take them off it will take a while to get them back to their natural state.

HA, u don't get an infection. My mom and aunt get their nails done like every 2 days and they're grone and healthy.

yeah, i read u could get infections....best to do your own nails.
