on the super mario bros, mario does the peace sign everytime he wins, and you have a power flower that makes you shoot fire balls. this reminds me of those hippies back in 1967.

you know it actually does remind me of those hippies and i never really liked them...but then again mario is a plumber and i dont think that hippies had jobs. so the answer to your question is that No i dont think that mario is a hippie Mario Rocks!
