the kids running around chasing each other screamin their heads off and the tv that just got turned up, man its loud here, think im gunna get a headache soon, so do you wanna swap???????

I spoke for a living. Only those who heart heard ever heard me.
That said,
I am hearing the breathing of millions upon millions as the fans on my computer ties me to the internet. I hear the proverbial silence and know the world around me is in place. I hear the click clack of my fingernails across the keyboard and know I am not alone for I can connect.

Leaves rustling on the trees outside my window, a dog barking in the distance, and my neighbor hammering on the deck he's building.

The wife and kid chattering and laughing. A very pleasing sound.
Chelsea the cat coughing up a hairball... not so appealing.
