weight plus area/or area without weight/space or quantity of area + mass equals weight by volume do you mean vlume of mass then d=kilo per sq. meter kg /m^3 volume can either be a discription of area or it can be a description of mass within an area usualy it describes an amount in this case area

Let's say that density is "D", mass is "M", and volume is "V".
D = M / V
To get V alone, you have to multiply that side by M, and for the equation to remain equal, anything you do to one side must be done to the other. So, you've got M (D) = M (M / V). Finish the equation and it's M times D equals V.
V = M * D
