it can be either it depends on the person, or it depends on what they are talking about, i have came to the conclusion some people are just out to make a statement and other people are just out to be annoying, and some people post to long of an answer and some people we can learn from, and those are the people that are important

Politics...it's more tangible, and possibly more corrupt.

In a religious discussion, to the devout, nobody's wrong, so there's no resolution. Being agnostic, it's easy for me to dismiss a conversation.

Politics affect me more directly, more frequently, and I have some (if even miniscule) input towards elected representatives. As a result, I tend to get more involved. I'm still a cynic, though, and I still believe that if voting *actually* worked, it would have already been outlawed.

I hate politics. I won't even talk about it. I don't discuss religion either, and I don't like it being discussed in front of me. Everyone believes what they believe why would you push someone to change because you think it is right. To each his own

Politicians who talk about religion! Iran's president, and President Bush!

Bush: "Stem cell production is against God's word. I'd rather let millions die from curable diseases than to sacrifice unborn human lives to save em. Marraige in the bible is described as union between MAN and WOMAN. Hey, I hereby ban anything that's not allowed in the bible. Duuuuuuuuh!"

President of Iran: "America is the devil's country. Look at them with their free big breasted hot women, not covered up and chained at home. Look at how they support Isreal and shun the Arabic nations. Look at them drink liqour and dance in bikinis and ......... *gulp* thongs, and l-l-l-look as the sweat beats down their semi-exposed breasts. MMM i need me some of that, I-I-I-I I mean, america is a threat to our way of life, to the teachings of the bible, and most be eliminated."

I get really upset when people are talking about religion and they are bashing other people's religion. I think we should all tolerate others' beliefs even if we don't agree with them. I especially get mad when people put down my beliefs. I don't make fun of their religion, they shouldn't make fun of mine!!!
