Yes, but it isn't a single entity, but tens of thousands of independent entitities and hundreds of thousand entities if you look at the parish level.
The Catholic Church is probably the most decentralized organization on Earth. In a sense, there is no such organization as the Catholic Church. There is a United Methodist Church and it is an organization, the Catholic Church is made up of thousands of autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations.
