theres this new girl in school and im nervouse to talk to her! what should i do?

Hi Beth. I hope I can be of a little help to you. I have always been shy, so maybe this will make sense to you too. I take my nervousness and start to break it down into little pieces. I ask myself very calmly, what exactly am I afraid will happen? I look at each thing and realise that it is all silly to worry about. In this way, I try not to let things seems bigger in my mind than they really are. Just saying "hi" to someone is no big deal. You can do it. And she would be glad to know who you are: a really great person with a lot to offer. I believe in you, so you believe in you too. Ok?

Thing is, ur nervousness is caused by ur own perception. Remember, she's juz a human like you, thus there's no need for you to be nervous. She's probably more nervous than you!

Why do u want to talk to someone that makes u nervous, unless you really have to. There is a reason why you feel nervous...maybe this new girl isn't a nice person. I would stick to the people I felt comfortable hanging around with.
