Well like that one person said there is no easy way to break up with someone! u need to just sit him down and directly tell him how u feel and try to make him understand why u did it so hes not confused about it later! and dont tell everyone, they might start spreading stuff and it might get to him and thats bad when other people know before him!

"Honesty", is still the best policy...in my book! To put myself in your b/f place... I would much rather you take the risk of hurting my feelings by telling me the truth of the situation and whatever/however it is that you feel; as opposed to me having to try dechipering the lyrics of a "song" just to realize i have been dumpped by my girlfriend.
I think you should keep it all the way real with both, him as well as yourself.
Regardless the fact the truth does & can hurt sometimes. I am sure that after your b/f eventually gets over & beyond his emotional-stress & pains about your decision; he will at least still have reason(s) to respect you as a person. More importantly, you'll respect yourself for having handled the situation in such a proper & mature way . And from that point , it is your b/f's responsiblity to be just as mature as your-self , and to accept situations as they are ,or has become .
Last but not least ; if in- fact you ever really did love and care for him as your b/f...then you would certainly know that he is well worth your truths & respect still at any cost ! Do keep it realzzzzzz!

The easiest way to do this is tell him that you need some space right now and you need some time alone. You have a lot of things going on right now and you don`t want to sound selfish but you really need some time to think and be alone. And that asking him to wait until you are ready for a realationship would be selfish and that he needs to move on until your ready for this. If that doesn`t work then tell him to f off!!! Thank you I`ll be here all week and don`t forget to tip your waitresses!!!

There is NO easy way to break up. There are going to be hurt feelings. Just do it directly, and quickly, so everyone can heal and move on with life.

if he loves you a whole lot, nothing is going to ease the pain. why do you want to get rid of him anyways? however there is a song by MEN AT WORK, the name of the song is "Ain't Nothing Gonna Break My Stride"

Tell him that you feel that it would be best if we go our separate ways, because you don't feel the way you used to about him. No matter what it is going to hurt, so just tell him how you feel.

try giving him hints and slowly start telling him that you breaking up with him and usually if he respects you he'll let you go and not be worried 'cause he knows you made the right decision

DO NOT USE A SONG! That's pathetic. Just straight-up dump him, face to face.
