To think that a song or a band could influence me into anything is preposterous...but then, I am a pretty confident guy. I cannot imagine anyone of any age being that deeply influenced, unless they were terribly unbalanced to start off with..and it has happened in the past. In fact, there have been bands sued for this very reason... the law suit didn't succeed, but ....

What do you mean threaten your sexuality? I mean there's lots of songs that guys or girls will sing, speaking of love songs toward the opposite sex. And as a gay person if that bothers you, you need to get a life. Me, as a straight person, I have a handful of gay and lesbian singers whose songs I like and I know they may be singing about or toward a member of the same sex and it doesn't bother me. I sing along to both male and female prospective songs about love and sex with the opposite sex and no problem.

A threat to my sexuality? Absolutely not.
Threatening to gay people with the possibility of inviting violence against them, you betcha. People like Beenie Man and some others of the reggae music as well as some hip-hop(or whatever the heck they are calling it this week)artists encourage anti-gay violence with their music.

I think that anybody who is unsure enough about their sexuality that it can be threatened by music should probably be questioning their sexuality anyway.

Yes, when I hear "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin, it makes me wanna go straight and have sex with a woman.

I only consider songs, singers, and bands as entertainment. They have no value to me otherwise. Most entertainers are not very well educated.

Nah! Listening to music is totally my choice, and I choose what I like.
