in a barnyard full of cows and chickens, there are 30 more legs than heads. If the ratio of cows to chickens is 4 to 3, how many cows are in the barnyard?

i replied similar variety of question earlier in ......forgot enable I have chickens x variety & y variety of cows now cow has 4 legs & poultry has 2 legs so construct the equation 2x+4y=seventy 4 so x+2y=37 ....................................(a million) x+y=30.............................(2) now from 2 I have (x+y)+y=37 30+y=37 y=7 so x =30-7 =23 so I have 23 chickens & 7 cows ,(no longer the farmer as he offered those to me)

(4*a*4+3*a*2)-(4*a+3*a)=30
a=2
#Cow=4*a=8
#chicken=3*a=6
