hi i was thinking of having half hair up and half down and wear a tiarra (lil crowns) can i do that at a homecoing, or is that like something for homecoming.

No. Only the homecoming queen or prom queen should have a crown or tiara on her head.
Anytime you wear a headpiece like that, you chance coming across as vain. It's not your choice to "crown" yourself with some kind of royal headgear. That is an honor that people vote on to decide who gets the privilege of the award.

I dont think you should, its kind of like you're trying to steal the homecoming queen's thunder and if youre a nominee its like saying "i've already won" Instead of the tiara, I think you should go with those silver hair swirls that you twist into your hair, they have them at claires and they have nice styles that will match your dress. Depends...do you want people staring and make a spectacle of you! That might be the reaction from most. I think some will view your wearing a tiara as desperate if you are not crowned the queen. It high school, don't make it harder on yourself. Have fun and good luck.

it really depends on the school - some homecomings are very formal, but to be on the safe side, i'd say to save the tiara for the prom

i say go for it!!!!! its only one night and you want it to be special. just make sure that its not too flashy to upstage the homecoming queen, maybe see if other girls are doing the same thing......i would do it but of course i didnt care much about what people thought of me in school............

it really doesnt matter, sure u can, people at my school wear tiarra's on their bday, so im sure u can for a dance

i wouls say sure only if its a small one though--dont ddraw too much attention to urself - unless ur planning on being the queen - then go as big as you want
