They are like that because that is what most high schools expect. They want everyone to be a clone of each other. They don't want anyone to be different.

First of all, they like shopping there because thats their personal style, and other teenagers are judgmental. I think we've all judged our peers before and we made fun of the ones that didnt exactly fit in. (even if you didnt say it, you THOUGHT it) And don't say that "why should you care wat other people say, they dont kno you" well, thats true, but it still hurts to be judged by your appearance before they get to know you. And plus, not everyone believes in God or has a God in their culture, and they wont stay the way they are forever, they'll grow, mature, and age.

I shop at those places because I personally like the styles. I am not self-conscious. I think I'm pretty, thats what counts. I do what I choose and I'm outspoken. I'm a cheerleader, so? I love to tumble and cheer, its my thing. I do it cause I like it, not to climb the social-ladder. I have lots of friends in different "cliques" oh well who ever stereo-types, forget them. They care WAYYY too much about what other people say. So I try not to hang around those kinds of people. All cheerleaders, football players, jocks, whatever, they're aren't like what the T.V. say. Like 1 out of all of them are big-headed, so they get all worked up. I'm not like that I love being social and outspoken. Again, I think I'm pretty, other people think I am but I love myself, thats what counts, right?

Because they're in high school. In High School if you don't fit in someone will let you know that. Daily. No wait, hourly.
Kids do yourself a favor, just get to college. Once there the little things that made you not fit in, now make you stand out and people will be attracted to that.

It is true that teens care about the way they look but they also care about what others think of them. If they look or act different from everyone else, they think that they will not be accepted. It is a natural human need to fit in

teenagers only care about how they look because they don't have real problems to worry about such as rent, kids, important relationships, and other bigger things in the world. And yes abercrombie and hollister do have crazy expensive prices

Because their newly developing hormones are bringing them into the big, scary world of the opposite sex, fashions, etc. They like to dress fashionably because they don't want to look out of place. I personally don't care about brand names or labels or designers, but apparently most teenagers do. The want to be cool.

well i shop there. and it doesn`t have a problem. and neither do i. but i think they like to shop there because the clothes are REALLY really SUPER cute. and like they like the style. maybe some other people don`t like it cuz they don`t like the style and the way the company makes the clothes. and besides. some people aren`t happy with they`re appearance. so they try to fix that.

The store has "a look" that they follow. Yes it is expensive but some people like it. No one can change what they like and dislike.
