A defining moment is something that changed you either for good or for bad.
People who are disabled and whom no-one has any expectations for yet go onto graduate from a university finding a job no-one expected them to get is an example of defining moment.
Finding someone who inspires like a teacher to change the way you do things can be part of a defining moment. How they helped you or how they didn't help you.
Only you KNOW what things in your life challenged or changed you. You'll have to think back or ask your parents for help.

like if u say.my mom and I always went to the park when I was young.then u would define that sentence by sayin we always went because there was a park nearby.or because we loved to playon the swings.just define why u did that.
