there is just a small distance between his house and mine. My side has flowers and pretty yard figures...yet we can't sit out because of these birds. Any ideas on how we can get rid of the pidgeons without a(pellet gun). They poop all over the place...and are disgusting.

Hang up some windsocks on the corners of your house to help scare them away.

Ask the neighbor to fix the hole in his house with some screening so the birds can't get in.

Plastic snakes sometime will deter unwanted pigeons. As well fake Owls, with bobbing heads.

If you get along with your neighbor ask him to fix his darn soffits.

Otherwise the disrepair of said soffits is like likely a code violation and you can report it to the city.

I observed a application on MSNBC some guy who dug some kinda underground citadel out in the woods and saved his abducted sufferer there. He forgot his cellular telephone and she or he referred to as the cops.

i know it sounds crazy, but if all else fails you can get an owl, preferably a plastic one like a yard ornament. believe it or not, it will keep away all pesky rodents (squirrels, rabbits, birds....)
