Also, how do I get it to show me the equation of this line?

If you have a line charted in Excel, just right-click on it and choose Add Trendline. Then you can right-click on the trendline and choose Options... | Show equation in chart.

You can even extend the line from the Options dialog box to "predict" the future.

A regression line is basically a line that goes from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (basically, a business that isn't doing too well...)

You can make one by entering data on different cells that go from 10 to 1, select these cells and then use the options to generate a graph.

Regression line. Try "slope". Just list columns of Xs and Ys highlight both of them and push "Chart". Then make your choices. (try scatter) Thats all I remember.
