do NOT put it in the microwave!

The reason it helps is it keeps it fresh for longer. If you are purchasing more than one battery or alternate, store your spare in the FRIDGE - not the freezer. And put it in a plastic baggie to protect from moisture. The constant (non freezing) temp in the fridge is better than leaving it in a room that alternates heat.

The first 3 times you use it let it drain down to dead dead dead before you recharge. That is called conditioning. Re-condition once a month to maintain maximum life.

And don't EVER leave your phone hooked up to your car charger for extended periods of time. If you aren't charging it (and you should do that in one shot) then unplug it. The constand stopping and starting of your car particularly around town is not good on the battery - juice one minute and none the next. It can make it build up a memory effect or worse - overload it if your charger doesnt have the proper protective circuit inside.

Temperature extremes are bad for batteries. Just think about your car battery in the dead of winter. Does the cold make it work better? I think not.

shut up you'll just fry the battery if you do that. Any no there has been many tests done and they say that it does absolutly nothing.

If you put it in the microwave it could blow up destroying your microwave and possibly injure someone. How stupid. I'm going to have to report that one.
