I think it depends on the length of the skirt. A denim mini will look flashy with shoes that have heels. On the flip side, you can wear a denim mini with sneaks and a fitted shirt and its sexy without the flash. A knee length or slightly shorter skirt can be worn with whatever type of shoe and shirt and not appear flashy- without the leggings.

Printed tights are nice too! The weather will be changing soon so you'll want to have your legs covered. With the tights and maybe a nice pair of leather boots, you can wear you denim mini during the late fall and winter.

Wearing a denim skirt without leggings is fine. Thats what the people did before the legging trend started.

I would never wear leggings, period. Maybe it's because I'm old (22). It's okay to wear the denim skirt by itself as long as it isn't too short. If you have great-looking legs you can get away with wearing really short things!

OMG yes!! I always thought the leggings were so 80's! I don't even know why they came back! And heck know is is flashy..if it was only 2 inches long then yes but make sure if you site down/ bend over that noone can see any part of your behind.

No, it is not too flashy. Denim skirts look great by themselves and can be worn with basically any type of shirt. Just make sure that your skirt is not too short, no one wants to see your booty when you bend over.

While the weather is still warm--depending on where on earth you live--it's ok to wear them sans leggings. I'm 30 now, so we did the jean skirts/skirts with leggings in the 80's/early 90's. Madonna started it, Jody Watley was my inspiration with the tulle skirts and leggings...I, personally, love the look because it brings back "memories" :)! I was shocked to see it's made a come-back...

Do your thing...just be sure you wear it well...and KNOW IT!

Absolutely OK.

If you're not happy with leggings under the skirt but still feel a little nekkid, tights are a happy medium. Without is just fine, though.
