if your best friend hates you because of your ex boyfriend then your best friend was never your friend to begin with.

Maybe your best friend hates you because he/he thinks you did injustice to his best friend. Did you dump your ex-boyfriend? That might be a reson. If he dumped you, tell your so called best friend that he/she should sympathize with you instead, or at least try to be a neutalizer and be best friends with both you and him. Otherwise, he/she's not your friend. You don't need them.

Sounds like there are too many best friends going on.
If she is willing to give up your friendship because of someone else then she is not a good/best friend. Move on and find someone new to hang with. She's not worth it!

Buy a dog and consider yourself lucky you don`t have to worry about them!! If she was your friend she would form her own opinion of you not what your x thinks of you!! Not a friend if she does that!!
