What is the name of the choreographed samba in Carnaval? Is it different from ballroom samba? I could dance pretty good just by watching (coming from my friends, I am brazilian btw), but would like to learn.

My friends base my samba on what they see from carnaval, they don't actually samba. I appreciate if you guys could post some resources, btw. Thanks!

Yeah, I dance samba, ballroom samba. Brazilian samba is somewhat different, but I don't know much about it. Ballroom samba is fun, that much I can tell you.
I guess you can ask your friends where did they learn Brazilian samba or/and go for ballroom samba classes.

i have samba-ed before. it's a great dance.
ask ur friends to teach u, or sign up for a professional class.
classes are THE BEST way to go.
