They just have little imagination when it comes to original thought and so they "parrot" what others say. Its easier to 'follow the pack' than think for themselves.

It's not necessarily intentional, okay? I picked up the habit somewhere, and like a case of herpes, it's hard to get rid of. It's like, you know, using phrases like, you know, "like", and "you know".
You start doing it in high school or where ever, and it becomes imprinted as a basic part of your vocabulary. Next thing you know you're trying to be a well-educated, open-minded liberal talking with like-minded adults, and you catch yourself saying, "The Bush Administration's foreign policy is so g-- I mean, um, lame." It's really embarrassing.
But even though I still slip up and use it occaisionally, at least I'm aware of how inappropriate the phrase is. Anybody who thinks it's "just an expression," how about this: "Last month's gas prices were insane! Those oil companies totally jewed us." Is that a harmless expression? Or would you say that using the word "jew" to mean "over-charge" is irresponsible and helps to perpetuate a stereotype?

What i might elect to make certain in video clips and in television classes is gay rolls that depict homosexuals as Mr or omit familiar. particularly than say a screaming queen or loopy lesbian who familiar interest maximum often is depicted interior the teach, them wishing to seduce the hero's of the teach. particularly we elect human beings to be solid as in simple terms the lads around the corner who delight in interest, is going to artwork and help the neighbours while they elect a hand. Has his dad and mom over. possibly seeing some considerable solid individuals who're doing a similar. it is, they're brazenly gay (no longer a screaming queen or butch lesbian) yet in basic terms a guy or woman who particularly than an opposite intercourse considerable different has a same intercourse one and previous little reference is made approximately this. they are not getting seduced by some female and in simple terms approximately saved from the crime of homosexuality and that they haven't any interest in getting all human beings else into mattress, yet particularly in simple terms delight in the enterprise of their considerable different on the teach. In different words be solid as homosexuals who're in simple terms Mr or omit familiar.

I've found that the younger generation is far more accepting of and respectful to LGBT people. One, in fact, felt stupid after telling me something was, "Gay" and worked really hard to stop saying it. He was saying because everyone else did, without any regard for its meaning or who may find it insulting.

While I have nothing against gay people, why is it that people spend all their lives finding offense at everything, it's just slang, and it is in no way meant to be derogatory to anyone, get over it. When a man does something lame and he's called a "girl" do all us women get offended, NO, when someone says something is out there get offended NO, when someone calls someone a *****, do all the animal activists get offended because we are insulting female dogs get offended NO, just get over it and stop taking offense to everything and worry about those who are genuinly hurting you.

There are people who have a 15 word vocabulary...what do you expect of them, except to grunt a lot, moan a lot, and hate gays. Be thankful, for this kind of person is NOT one I want on our bandwagon..stupidity is not a trait I admire.

I am gay and until recently I used to use the term "gay" to mean lame or stupid. Another gay man pointed out to me that it perpetuates the stereotype that homosexuality is wrong too. Now I dont do it.

I'm a gay man, and frankly it doesn't bother me. I say it sometimes. With my gay friends, it's funny when someone says "O that's so gay..." It's really not something to be taken that seriously.
Love, Jack.

Why worry about labels?
People are going to be people. Regardless of who or what they may represent.
So again, I ask....why worry about labels?
Do they mean anything to you? I mean the labels or the people placing the labels on you????
We all have labels. Some good and some bad.
Take the ones you want and toss out the rest.
Again, I ask.....why worry about labels????????
