Rock or Rap?

I say rock. i luv rock and i luv music!♥

I'd have to go with Rock, not just becuase it's better( even though it is..) and because it's music that people actually think about what they write, and that it's not just talking with a beat, but most of the time it's mainly about how good some girl looks in a pair of hooochie mama shorts or drugs and alchohol. Rock actually does that sometimes,(BuckCherry's song I mean) but not MOST of the time, some of this stuff is serious, like rise Aginst's song Ready To Fall, it's about all these things going on in the world like pollution, and all that bad stuff. For some reason I love rock for more than jsut those reasons, but I just can't exactly put them into words other than Music is just a big part of my life and that genre just sticks to me rather than Rap or any Hip Hop.

Rock is better. Rap isn't music, that should explain it well enough.
Also, rock can be talked about using musical terms. You can say what key a rock song is in; you can talk about a rock song's tonality, timbre and other stuff like that.
And anyone who says rap is better because it has a strong beat obviously hasn't hear much metal.

I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL... put another dime in the jukebox baby.... I love rock and roll!!! B/C--------I love it. I like the old time 80's music and most of that included rock and roll. I like Rap music as well, but the newer versions like 2000 and up.. that seems about the time when they really started putting some real thought into Rap music and lyrics.

Rock all the way it's left a huge impact on society it's so diverse which means theres different kinds of rock soft rock,punk,proggresive,new wave,indie,heavy metal,classic.It has also been around longer it takes skill and talent to perform. Rap is crap remember that.

I prefer rock myself but it might be more of a generational thing. Some rap is really good but there just isn't as many decades of history to develop so many greats.

-raises hand for rock-.Rap is kinda lame.But it could have some good lyrics to it sometimes.But i mean there are some exeptions.Rock is wayy better though!I love love love it!!I can't get enough.The first thing i think about rap is like women in the videos and stuff.But when i think about rock i think about hawt Nick wheeler playing his wonderfully hawt guitar.Which i love lol.
