Mouse trap.

Surprisingly enough, use part of a walnut to bait it. My mom did that in our garage, went back inside and literally seconds later she heard it snap and there was one dead mousey!

Those sticky traps are cruel in my opinion. We used them at my work. Hearing those mice scream is just horrifying. Traps are usually quicker and cleaner.

A mousetrap available at most stores. If you have issues about killing them, there are some boxes you can buy which will trap the mouse without killing it.

The best way is to use a trap baited with peanut butter. Those sticky mouse traps are inhumane, the poor little mouse dies a slow death by starving. please don't use one of those.

I wouldn't suggest a gun as Nathan Lane and Lee Evans used in the movie, but mouse traps actually do work really well, just don't use a million of them and then lock yourself in the room like what they also did in the movie.
