Let's say you have a very high-energy photon whose wavelength is slightly LONGER than the Planck length (~1.6 * 10^-35 m). An object moves toward the photon, so that from the object's POV the photon gets blueshifted so that its wavelength is now LESS THAN the Planck length.

What will happen when the photon meets the object? Will the photon interact with it, briefly forming a quantum black hole with the atom or particle it strikes? Or, since the photon's wavelength is now in the "meaningless to measure" range from the object's frame of reference, would the photon not interact with the object at all, passing thru it like a neutrino? Or something else?

If I understand the concept of the Plank length, then the interaction of this photon with the particle would create a black hole. The wavelength of the photon with respect to the object it is striking would be the relevant number to use in calculating the effects of the interaction.

Since the wavelength is inverse proportional to the frequency and the frequency is according to E=\hbar*\nu proportional to the energy, your question aims towards unanswered questions of our today's knowledge. Such an high energy photon would be described by a possible Grand Unified Theory. We're still searching for that.

There is no way to tell. A photon of that short a wavelength would have a larger energy than we could ever make. Do the computation yourself to see.

I understand your question and that i've got self assurance you're no longer joking yet finding out the waters. in this Universe there is an expertise that often grew to become into and is countless. And existence, the skill for remember to journey being conscious, got here from this expertise. adult men have sensed this because of the fact the 1st adult men populated the Earth. some seem for this expertise utilising the techniques of technology or the religion of religions. as quickly as we come to understand extra approximately our cosmos issues will come collectively as to the justifications why the Universe exists and why any human beings is alive and conscious. maybe the experiments at Cern will detect a 5th tension, maybe there call it the religious tension and assign it a particle call referred to as "Spiriton." , and all human beings will come closer to expertise the secret of ourselves and the cosmos....good question....i'm on beer 4 myself......
