How do i ask ?

If you're nervous, I suggest asking her in private and look your best. The worst that can happen is her saying no. I also suggest asking her asap because if she does say no(hopefully not, player!) then you can hurry up and ask someone else before everyone's tied up. Good fortune!

aaaaawww!!!
im a girl... but i would much rather have some guy come up to me and start talking first than just be like "will you go to the blabla dance with me"??? but instead talking a little bit and then asking if i had someone to go with. Maybe saying "are you excited for the blabalbab?" Not implying that you were asking me, but just wondering kind of. And then suprise me. if you know the person-- this way's best.
if you dont know em, then i dont know what to tell you??
makesure they're not a ........ (fill inthe blank!!!) before you ask them.

Approach her and say" There is a dance this Saturday evening in the "Whatever auditorium." I would like it very much if you would accompany me there. Would you like to?

make sure your not nervous!! Just go up to her and say "what are you doing (whatever day) would you like to go to the dance with me? Works like a charm

just ask. a nice girl will give you a chance or a good reason she can't. but dont have someone else do it for you, she's likely to say no and it'll make it wierd when you next see her

Bring it up after you are already speaking to her about something else. Use some kind of icebreaker first, nothing stupid. Then the rest will come easy.

Start with "Hi. I was wondering if you had a date for ...." If she says no, ask her if she would like to go with you.
