You seem to think people are here to improve society in some measureable way, otherwise they should not be allowed to put a drag on society.

I feel the meaning of life is to simply enjoy it. Contribution to improve society is good, but not necessary in the larger scheme of things. It seems from your links you have no children. As a father of a down's syndrome child, I can say from experience becoming a parent to a "handicapped" child changes everything. You may not think so now, but the first time you hold your child in your arms, you realize any handicap they may have is truly unimportant to life. If anything, it may give you a clearer picture of why we're here...

Well, I believed that the both are kind of mind boggling..... But the prisons, they do keep them in solitare and it just bores them alot. As human beings, we evolved to communicate more which leads us to be seperate then animals. So that might kinda toture the prisoners a bit which leads them to hate prison. The other one with the disabled... Well I have lots of different view on it. The first one(don't hate me for this) is that if evolution is proven then why continue to nurse for them? Isn't evolution suppose to be the strongest one will continue to live?

Good lord. Just because people "serve no function" in life doesn't mean they aren't still human beings who want to survive.

Let me put it this way. When you become old enough that you are financially independent and don't need you parents, and your mom is doing nothing in a retirement home, should she be put down?

That is NOT what I asked. I asked when your mother is old to the point when she doesn't serve any function to society, should she be no longer allowed to live? Cause that is what you are basically saying with your philosophy.

Didn't find the answer you were looking for?
So you want to euthanize the disabled and mentally ill?
You had some logic going there until you started saying except disabled people like.... so its not disabled people as a whole its people you think are not contributing to the world. Well disabled people provide jobs for people that help them so that is their contribution to society.

Bet you wouldn't think that if you were disabled or mentally ill.
