Format your hard drives:
If you're a windows user, go to the bios and set the first boot device to CD put the Windows CD and reboot, follow the steps and format the harddrivers then install a fresh copy of windows.
Don't do that unless you really know what ur doing!!

i would suggest going to western digitals website and downloading their software or run over to maxtors site for there software and let the software format the hard drive if you don't there will be old file fragments hanging around and the computer will be sluggish. when you format the drive also called zero fill full, this will take everything off the hard drive and you will actually be starting fresh.
after that is done install your operating system with the software your machine came with.
good luck

restart your computer with the install disk in the drive, and follow the instructions from there, i recommend formatting the HD before reinstalling the OS. I hope it helps, its pretty basic, but you will figure it out :)

you want a fix disc that you create your self, use it to reinstall a sparkling reproduction of wins7 and convinced it wipes each thing off search for for something like fix manager or device backup to burn a fix disc yet this function is for pre-put in platforms surely

Then just pop in the Disk and let'er rip. It will prompt you as to what is going to happen and give you several chances to stop what you're doing. Just follow the instructions as they pop up.
