0=2x^2-x+2

Use the quadratic equation:

(-b +/- squarert(b^2-4ac)) / 2a

You will find that when you work out the square root part that the stuff inside the parentheses sends up negative, and you can’t find the square root of a negative number. The answer is no solution.

Set 2x^2-x+2 equal to zero. Factor and solve for x.
