Irregular periods are normal for teenages that just started their periods. But, If your having your period for a month at a time, then you need to be evaluated by a Dr. You need to make sure that you don't have a hormone imbalance or a bleeding disorder of some sort. Bleeding that much can make you anemic which makes you tired and could actually make you confused and not think right. You should really be evaluated.

Go & have a chat to your doctor, don't be shy just go chat to a lady doctor so you feel more comfortable... It's not normal to have your period for over a month, there are quite a few factors that it could be, two I can think of are hormone imbalance, & low iron (aenemia however u spell it...) More than anything having your period for a month is very annoying, so go have a chat to your doctor so you can get rid of it!

Prolonged periods or lack of periods is something to be concerned about. You definitely want to see a doctor.
