I tried to pull the trolley at a 45 angle. It still does not work.

There should be a reset switch on or near the motor. You'll hafta get a ladder and look around, flashlight too. Or just reset it from the circuit breaker.

You really have to define "I can't get it to work"

Does the motor make any noise or operate at all and it's just the door won't open or close?
If the motor runs but the door doesn't operate then you don't have the "manual latch" locked in correctly.

Or is it dead silence when you press the button?
Then look for the reset button on the motor.

Does the wall button have a light on it? and is it on?
If not the house circuit breaker may be tripped and needs to be reset.

Also make sure you don't have anything in the way of the electric eye safety feature "if you have one".

Ours has a little cord that you have to pull away from the garage door. And it is so much fun standing on a chair to reach it! It makes it switch from manual back to the opener. Also make sure that you did not lock your door.

If you did it manually you probably have to open it real hard for the mechanism to re-lock to the motor.. When you do it manually you unlock the it from the motor so you need to hook it back up

Manually pu the door back where it was and try again to see if that helped.

Have you tried to shut off the electricity to it and reset it's memory.

Just a thought.
